WISH ME LUCK!
My last post dates to a month back. I had not blogged, because I’d so much to write and so little time! I spent some wonderful time since the last post. Good time, bad time, highs, lows, experienced all of it!
When I look back, I don’t believe I’ve experienced so much in such little time, and it’s time to bid a farewell now! Farewell to all the good memories, a farewell to Ruia. Thinking of Life in Ruia… I don’t know if it was right or wrong, but it was the best!
I can keep on talking, but I want to reserve it till I’m done with my exams! Examinations are starting from 16th April and getting over on the 26th of April. So, till 26th I won’t blogging.
As of now, bye! Wish me luck! Take care!

Oh! I can’t wait for these days to flick by and give my senses a treat! I wonder what can keep you guys waiting!
COME FEAST YOUR SENSES!
The changing change!
‘You cannot decide your future, depending on the past’. We can expect, hope but planning leads to disappointment. A year back, I’d never thought, life would be such a roller coaster.
In fact, though I know this is not the end of my academic year, and not an end of my graduation, there’s some more time left, and some more twists and turns, but I still wish to turn back, and look at these 3 years. Surely the best, as they taught me a lot! But were they as expected? Well I’m not sure!
First year was different, and according to that, I’d planned my second year, but things changed, situations changed, relations, egos, importance, priorities, behavior and many things changed. When things change, suddenly, it feels like dropping off from the top of the roller coaster at full speed. Though we know, that we are guarded by the seat-belt, we fear falling down. Similarly, we are a bit uneasy with the changes, even though we know, somewhere in the corner of our mind, God has provided a seat belt too! And it’ll be a safe journey.
So, I was a bit phobic about the changes happening in my life in my second year. I got used to the new life, and found happiness and satisfaction in whatever that was thrown onto me. And I realized that the changes that happened were necessary for the same.
To err is to human, and I err-ed again! I planned my third year based on my second year. Obviously, nothing is permanent except change, and things had to change again. But as I’d learnt my lesson well, I welcomed this change. Life was good again.
But then, things were going so well on the roller coaster that I’d slept in my seat, and again was caught unaware when the cart dropped off another track! But I’m used to it now, things are changing again. I know that this change is necessary for something important that has to happen. Even though I don’t know for what it has to happen, I’m sure it’ll be a safe journey!

MY SPECIAL DAY!!!!!!
There’s one thing I missed out on blogging about. It’s about my 20th birthday, though it’s been more than a month now, it’s too late to talk about it. But it’s something so close to my heart that I can’t miss out onto that!
Never had thought my 20th birthday would be so beautiful! It started early in the morning when Mom as well as Dad came together to wake me up and wish me a very happy birthday! I was surprised, but not much. Then Mom said, “look Bhai (sankoobaba) has something
special done up for you!” I was feeling very lazy, and was just calling out for my brother to show that whatever “special” he has to show, and rolling on my bed, I saw out of the door of my room, there were papers pasted allover. I didn’t get what it was, and I stood up, and went closer to realize, that there are 20 such papers, stuck all over!
Each paper had been numbered, as 1, 2…20 and movie names, personalized according to my life were written on each, example, sammy diaries, sammy’s day out, sammy and the goblet of coffee, etc. As I went further, on the television, a collage, of our pictures and my qualities was displayed, and on his cell phone he was playing happy birthday song. He then handed me something, I opened it and found a nice purse like thing, and a notepad, where all my favourite
This was the best surprise ever, and I really did not feel like celebrating any further, that much was enough for me! I went to college after that, and was a bit disappointed, as my friends had bunked, and there was hardly anyone to wish me. But after that, my best Friend Shraddha met me in college after lectures, and gave me a SURPRISE! She gave me a poster made out of her, mine and our photos and a beautiful poem in Marathi written on “our friendship!” It was lovely! I came home, as my close buddies were coming over for lunch.
After enough of waiting, they finally came; they also got a cake for me! After cutting of cake, etc. we started with our lunch. After a heavy lunch and conversations, and opening of gifts! We went through all my childhood pictures. And after enough of conversations, fun, we started playing “raja, rani chor police” – the chit game! Had fun while playing that! Then I made tea and coffee for my friends, and we got ready, and left! We went to Thane, “Talaopali” and did boating, had nice conversations again. Then we had my favorite ice-cream in a small parlour in Thane, “JANASEVA”, it’s not the plush ice-cream parlor types, it’s like a small shack,is way too old, now run by the grandson of the owner, but gives wonderful natural fruit, hand-churned ice-cream! Yum!
Then I bid all my friends a good bye and then went with my cousin, she gifted me a kurta! After all this, I finally came home, and had a nice family dinner, and returned to my room to gaze into the day again! That might be my best birthday in recent years!
I am really really thankful to all the people involved in making it a special day for me! This was a day, where after years I felt I’m a kid again, and being pampered, and just like a cat all I wished to do was ‘purr’ in the pleasure, I love you all for making me feel this! You have given me a wonderful reminiscence. Thanks again!
*****HAPPY NEW YEAR*****
Wish You All Readers a Very Happy New Year. It feels great when I come to know that there are readers of my blog. Thanks a lot to everyone who reads my blog, it feels appreciated.
Personally I don’t think that 1st Jan is a beginning of a New Year, because, a new year for me has always been in June (academic New Year) or else 27th November (my birthday). But I would like to take this day as a reason to jot down all of those important things I try to remind myself everyday, things which might improve me! Basically, my New Year Resolutions are as follows:
· I’ll sleep late…..( because even if I sleep early, I’ll still get up late, hence wasting my 50% day in sleeping)
· I’ll not publish pessimistic poems (people start looking at me with pity)
· I’ll try my best to improve my concentration (Distracted is my second name)
· I’ll try my best to conserve water. (water is life)
· I’ll try my best to contribute towards improving environmental conditions, if not improve I’ll avoid further damage. (SAVE EARTH…GO GREEN!)
· I’ll remind myself, I’m not in this world to change people, I can give suggestions not advises. (this is to avoid making further enemies)
· I’ll avoid speaking when I’m angry or frustrated! (Or else the result will be explosive as always!)
· I’ll remind myself, be honest and don’t hide things from your best friends, because, even your worst mistake will be forgiven by them! (After all, they Love you!)
· While watching television when there are no movies or nothing else better to watch, I won’t surf channels mindlessly! (It wastes the remaining 50% of my day!)
· I’ll improve my knowledge about Indian Mythology. (It’s better than last year, but still needs help!)
· I’ll try to be more planned. (I need to take this one seriously!)
· I’ll try…er…. I have to understand, to sort out my priorities! (No trying here!)
· I’ll learn to say “NO”, when I can’t really do a thing. (kya karu ke mujhe na kehna nahi ata –a song by Shaan, suits me perfectly!)
· I’ll try to improve my vocabulary of English as well as Marathi. (Hm, not much difficult! >>I guess!)
· I’ll improve on my “spoken English” (which is weakened due to reduced English conversations!)
· I’ll improve my political knowledge (basically my general knowledge).
· I’ll smile for no reason! (Most favorite resolution!)
· And finally! I’ll say the following prayer everyday,
Dear God,
Give me the courage to accept situations
I can’t change.
The Power to change,
Situations I can.
The ability to tell the,
Difference between these two situations.
